Sitting at the base of the Velay mountains, Boisseuges offers its
visitors relaxation and a slower way of life. Surrounded by mountain
forests, farmers’ fields and bubbling brooks, the sounds of the
village speak softly of a different time - a simpler place in
history. “Chez LaBache” is located in the heart of the village off
the main road, and guests will feel at home in its quiet charm.
The cottage’s renovation in 2007 incorporated modern conveniences
and comforts while still preserving its historical atmosphere. On
the ground floor, you will relax next to the authentic hearth
complete with a wood burning stove, or perhaps enjoy your favorite
news program on television. Gather for a meal in the dining area or
in the kitchen’s breakfast corner. The kitchen itself is equipped
with a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, stovetop, oven and
overhead vent. The ground floor of the cottage is also complete with
a half-bath, heated electric floors and washer and dryer.

On the second floor, make yourself at home in one of the three bedrooms, two of which are furnished with a double bed and one with a twin bed and desk. A full bath with both tub and shower, as well as double sinks, is also found on the second floor.

The cottage’s charm cumulates on the third floor, where children of
all ages have their own alcove under the peaked roof and skylight windows.
Finished in golden-hued wood, this room has two twin beds, a crib, a child’s
sized table and chairs, and a safety gate at the top of the staircase.
Outside, a small parking area is situated next to the house and the enclosed
backyard is perfect for a family barbecue or friendly conversation.
